My Daughter Loves her Zen Coloring Book!

My 14 year old daughter was so excited to find a beautiful zen design coloring book in her Christmas stocking this year.

My daughters love to color, do yours? It was something they found frustrating as they grew older because so many of the coloring books made are for younger children.

That is the wonderful thing about the adult coloring book crazy these past few years, they make wonderful gifts for older girls and teens too!

My daughter loves to use markers to color with and her favourite are the fine tip permanent markers. I was a little worried that the marker ink would bleed through to the next page, but the paper is fairly thick and we haven’t had any problems with bleed through.

Compared to other adult coloring books I find that the lines are thicker and bolder. This is one of the things that makes this adult coloring book so great for children and teens. Thicker lines make it easier to color neatly and gives it a hand drawn ink look.

This coloring book has become one of my daughter’s favourite gifts this year and she’s looking forward to getting more Zen style coloring books.
